Canadian Institute of Technology was established in 2011. Its philosophy aims to provide potential students with the necessary and competitive skillset in demand by the Albanian and Balkan regions, as well as European and North-American labor markets.
Offering the curricula in the English language makes it possible for the CIT to use the latest teaching methodologies with updated academic materials and to open larger horizons for graduates in the Balkan region and beyond.

4TH INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE (ICITTBT) 2024
|
The 4th International Conference (ICITTBT) themed “Way of New Life: Bridging Horizons in Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Cybersecurity, Smart Cities, and Digital Economy” was a resounding success!
Over the course of two days, we witnessed groundbreaking discussions, innovative presentations, and a vibrant exchange of ideas that promise to shape a new technological era for Albania.

PARTNERSHIP AND GROWTH AT TRAKYA UNIVERSITY

Our esteemed Rector, Prof. Dr. Ismail Kocayusufoğlu, visited Trakya University in Edirne, Türkiye, where he was warmly
welcomed by the Rector of Trakya University, Prof. Dr. Erhan Tabakoglu. We are thrilled to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Trakya University, paving the way for exciting collaborations between our two institutions!

SAKARYA UNIVERSITY, TÜRKİYE | Erasmus+ Mobility Exchange Program

In a significant stride towards international collaboration and academic exchange, our representatives embarked on a visit to Sakarya University in Türkiye.
The visit was marked by a series of fruitful engagements and insightful discussions, aimed at fostering closer ties between the two esteemed institutions.

On May 17, 2024, CIT students made us proud at the IV Student Conference co-organized by CIT and Fan S. Noli University in Korça!
This year’s theme, “Digital Transformation in Challenging Times,” brought together around 40 students who presented 23 insightful papers.

The Canadian Institute of Technology (CIT) had the honor of participating in the EU Fair 2024 during Europe Week, where we proudly shared our Erasmus+ journey!
The event provided a wonderful platform to showcase our achievements and engage with enthusiastic high school graduates and university students.

SAKARYA APPLIED SCIENCE UNIVERSITY | Collaboration Meeting

Mr. Ubejd Osmani, and Board Representative Mr. Bledar Komina, recently visited Sakarya Applied Science University in Türkiye! The visit was marked by engaging discussions and a mutual agreement to collaborate on various academic issues, potential joint projects, innovative lab collaborations, and partnership initiatives.

VTES in Ceske Budejovice | Erasmus+ Mobility Exchange Program
|
Our esteemed lecturers, Dr. Enriko Ceko and Dr. Edmira Cakrani, recently participated in the Erasmus+ Mobility program at VTES – School of Economics and Technology in Ceske Budejovice,
Czech Republic. During their visit, Dr. Ceko and Dr. Cakrani met with our students, Iris Hoxha and Anja Braha, who are excelling in their Erasmus exchange at VSTE.

DIPLOMA THESIS & INTERNSHIPS | Academic Advising
|
An insightful session was conducted for our Bachelor students, led by our esteemed Rector, Prof. Dr. Ismail Kocayusufoğlu, and our dedicated department heads, Assoc. Prof. Nihat Adar, Dr. Eugen Musta, and Dr. Enriko Ceko.
The session focused on guiding students through their diploma thesis, highlighting the importance of precision and expertise for their future careers.

WORK ETHICS FOR GEN Z – Open Lecture
|
The work ethic of Albanian youth has often been the subject of speculation and preconceptions.
This lecture explored the results of a research study conducted in Spring 2023, examining the strength and various aspects of Generation Z’s work ethic.

FORGING NEW PARTNERSHIPS | TÜYAFED, Türkiye
|
We were honored to welcome Mr. Mustafa Calis, President of TÜYAFED, for an important cooperation meeting at CIT.
The meeting explored significant cooperation projects and culminated in the signing of an MoU for our students’ internships and EU projects.
