WHO ARE WE?

Canadian Institute of Technology was established in 2011. Its philosophy aims to provide potential students with the necessary and competitive skillset in demand by the Albanian and Balkan regions, as well as European and North-American labor markets.

Offering the curricula in the English language makes it possible for the CIT to use the latest teaching methodologies with updated academic materials and to open larger horizons for graduates in the Balkan region and beyond.

A Step Toward Global Academic Excellence | CIT Welcomes University of Split Delegates

CIT continues to strengthen its global academic network, hosting distinguished guests from the University of Split, Croatia. Professor and Dean Branimir Lela and Associate Professor and Vice Dean for Science Silvestar Šesnić, Ph.D., from FESB (Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Naval Architecture), were warmly received by CIT Rector Prof. Dr. Ismail Kocayusufoglu and senior institute leaders.

CIT and Kadri Zeka University Sign Memorandum of Understanding

CIT welcomed executive representatives from Kadri Zeka University, Gjilan, Kosovo, as part of a newly signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance academic collaboration. The delegation included Prof. Dr. Dukagjin Leka, Prof. Assoc. Dr. Selim Daku, Prof. Assoc. Dr. Aferdita Ibrahimi, Prof. Assoc. Dr. Shejnaze Gagica, and Prof. Assoc. Dr. Flamur Maloku.

Oracle Academy Certification at CIT

CIT is proud to be a member of Oracle Academy, integrating its Database Foundations curriculum into the Database Systems course. Under the supervision of Irena Fata, Ph.D.(c), third-year students successfully took their exam, earning the opportunity to receive an official Certificate of Completion from Oracle Academy.

CIT Partners with EIT Raw Materials Albania RIC

CIT has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the EIT Raw Materials Albania Regional Innovation Center (RIC) to strengthen academic programs and research collaboration.

CIT students participated in the “Innovation in Education” panel, organized by COD at the Prime Minister’s Office in collaboration with SAS Albania. The discussion explored the challenges and opportunities of integrating technology and AI into Albania’s education system.

History Meets Innovation | Student Study Trip

CIT, in collaboration with the Institute of Education, Heritage, and Tourism (IETT), organized an inspiring study trip exploring how technology is transforming the museum experience and cultural preservation.

Exploring Albania’s Financial System

Professor MSc. Egis Zaimaj and students from the Faculty of Economy visited the Bank of Albania, gaining firsthand insights into the country’s financial landscape. Key discussions focused on Albania’s inclusion in SEPA (Single European Payments Area) and the Bank of Albania’s role as a supervisory institution.

Work & Study Fair 2025 | Day 1 Highlights

The first day of the Work & Study Fair was a dynamic experience, bringing together students, young professionals, and future leaders eager to explore educational and career opportunities. Visitors engaged with CIT’s Bachelor and Master programs, discovering our practical, market-oriented curriculum and international study opportunities through Erasmus+ exchanges and global partnerships.
