WHO ARE WE?

Canadian Institute of Technology was established in 2011. Its philosophy aims to provide potential students with the necessary and competitive skillset in demand by the Albanian and Balkan regions, as well as European and North-American labor markets. 

Offering the curricula in the English language makes it possible for the CIT to use the latest teaching methodologies with updated academic materials and to open larger horizons for graduates in the Balkan region and beyond.

SMART & SUSTAINABLE AI CONTENT CREATION

CIT is at the forefront of technological innovation, continuously integrating the latest trends into education and industry. The upcoming training program provides participants with the opportunity to master advanced technologies for creating video, audio, and visual content with AI. It also covers audience analysis, intellectual property protection, monetization strategies, and the implementation of sustainable and ethical practices.

Regional Academic Collaboration Through Projects

On August 27, 2025, “Haxhi Zeka” University in Peja, Kosovo, hosted a formal academic meeting with representatives from the Canadian Institute of Technology (CIT), the University of Durrës “Aleksandër Moisiu”, and the host institution. The meeting brought together university leaders and academic staff to discuss shared goals and opportunities for collaboration.

Erasmus Charter Certificate Granted for CIT from European Education and Culture Executive Agency

The Canadian Institute of Technology (CIT) is proud to announce that it has been officially awarded the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education (ECHE) by the European Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) of the European Union.

On July 15, as part of the project “Initiative for Cooperation, Research and Innovation in Western Balkans Universities (ICRI-WB)”, representatives from the Canadian Institute of Technology (CIT) held a presentation meeting at the University of Sports of Tirana (UST).
