Offering the curricula in the English language makes it possible for the CIT to use the latest teaching methodologies with updated academic materials and to open larger horizons for graduates in the Balkan region and beyond.

On September 30, the Canadian Institute of Technology (CIT) will host a roundtable titled “Audio-Visual Media Skills”, bringing together representatives from industry, business, and NGOs.
The event will provide a dynamic platform to explore the role of artificial intelligence in shaping audio-visual media and enhancing skills across different age groups.

CIT and Sports University of Tirana Strengthen Academic Cooperation
|
On September 23, 2025, the Canadian Institute of Technology (CIT) had the honor of hosting a distinguished delegation from the Sports University of Tirana, Albania.
The delegation was led by Prof. Dr. Agron Kasa, Rector, accompanied by Prof. Dr. Arben Kaçurri, Vice Rector for Scientific Affairs, and MSc. Safiola Çarçani (Shabanaj), Director of International, Public, and Student Relations.

National Academic Partnerships Through Collaboration

Representatives from the Canadian Institute of Technology (CIT), led by Rector Prof. Dr. Ismail Kocayusufoǧlu, conducted an official academic visit on September 18, 2025, to the University of Elbasan (UNIEL) in Albania. The delegation included Mr. Ubejd Osmani, CIT Administrator, Prof. Assoc. Entelë Gavoçi, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, and Dr. Bledar Komini, Project Lead of the ICRI-WB project and CIT Board Advisor. From UNIEL, the meeting was attended by Prof. Dr. Elvira Fetahu, Rector of UNIEL, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bederiana Shyti, Dean of the Faculty of Natural Sciences, and MSc. Ervis Sanço, Head of the International Relations Office.

An official academic visit from the Canadian Institute of Technology (CIT), led by Rector Prof. Dr. Ismail Kocayusufoglu and Dr. Bledar Komini, Project Lead of the ICRI-WB project and Board of Administration Advisor, took place on September 10, 2025, at the Mediterranean University Podgorica, Montenegro.
The delegation also included partners from the University of Durrës “Aleksandër Moisiu”: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Llambi Prendi and Prof. Dr. Ermira Qosja.

On August 27, 2025, “Haxhi Zeka” University in Peja, Kosovo, hosted a formal academic meeting with representatives from the Canadian Institute of Technology (CIT), the University of Durrës “Aleksandër Moisiu”, and the host institution. The meeting brought together university leaders and academic staff to discuss shared goals and opportunities for collaboration.

The Canadian Institute of Technology welcomed a distinguished delegation from “Kadri Zeka” University, Gjilan, Kosovo. The visit marked the signing of a Cooperation Agreement, strengthening ties between the two institutions through shared academic research and collaborative projects.

On September 3, 2025, the Canadian Institute of Technology (CIT) had the honor of welcoming a distinguished delegation from Sakarya Applied Science University, Türkiye, led by Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Sarıbıyık, accompanied by key academic and institutional representatives. Several professors also joined the meeting virtually.
