Canadian Institute of Technology was established in 2011. Its philosophy aims to provide potential students with the necessary and competitive skillset in demand by the Albanian and Balkan regions, as well as European and North-American labor markets.
Offering the curricula in the English language makes it possible for the CIT to use the latest teaching methodologies with updated academic materials and to open larger horizons for graduates in the Balkan region and beyond.

Agile Methodologies and Tools in Practice | CEEPUS Mobility Program, Austria

A guest course on “Agile Methodologies and Tools in Practice” was successfully delivered at Johannes Kepler Universität Linz (JKU), Austria, as part of a CEEPUS teaching mobility program. The course was led by Ph.D.(c) Florenc Hidri, Lecturer at CIT.

Today marked the successful conclusion of the Student Government Elections for the academic year 2025–2026 at CIT — an important step in strengthening student engagement and leadership on campus.

MLOps in Practice & End-to-End MLOps with GitHub | Co-Teaching Laboratory Session
|
CIT recently offered students a practical perspective on designing, tracking, and deploying machine learning systems in real production environments. This initiative is part of the “Diaspora EU4Innovation” project, coordinated by Assoc. Prof. Entelë Gavoçi and supported by Diaspora4Innovation and Germin.

Online Focus Group Held under the ICRI-WB Project

On November 10, 2025, the Canadian Institute of Technology (CIT) successfully hosted an online Focus Group as part of the “Initiative for Collaboration, Research and Innovation in Western Balkans Universities” (ICRI-WB) project. The initiative is funded by NASRI and led by CIT in partnership with the University “Aleksandër Moisiu” Durrës (UAMD).
