WHO ARE WE?

University College “Canadian Institute of Technology” is a private academic institution established in 2011. The licensing decision was issued by the Albanian Prime Minister and Minister of Education and Science on 10 November 2011. Canadian Institute of Technology is an accredited University College which operates in the heart of Tirana – Albania.

CIT RANKED 7TH IN GOOGLE SCHOLAR | Albanian National H-index Ranking 2023

We are thrilled to announce that Canadian Institute of Technology has been ranked 7th in the Albanian National H-index Ranking 2023 for Google Scholar. This achievement reflects the outstanding contributions of our faculty and researchers.

As part of National Youth Day, we took part in the thrilling “Under 30” affair arranged by the Minister of State for Youth and Children! This gathering featured over 100 youth service providers, such as organizations, businesses, universities, institutions, youth panels, donors, politicians, and ambassadors.

NEW TECHNOLOGY & INNOVATIONS IN MOBILE COMMUNICATIONS | OPEN LECTURE

CIT hosted a captivating open lecture titled “New Technology & Innovations in Mobile Communications,” organized by CIRD. The event featured a distinguished guest speaker, Mr. Elvis Bregu, Head of Business Development Extended Leadership Team at Vodafone Albania.

CEEPUS MOBILITY EXCHANGE PROGRAM | Technical University in Sofia, Bulgaria

Representatives from our university, Assoc. Prof. Vasil Qano and Eng. Shefqet Meda had the opportunity to visit the Technical University in Sofia, Bulgaria as part of the Interinstitutional CEEPUS Exchange Program Agreement.

IGNITE ENTREPRENEURSHIP PROGRAM

We successfully finished the third out of 12 transformative training sessions at Techspace, powered by the EU4Innovation and implemented by @kongresi_rinor_kombetar and our university. During this session, Dr. Eugen Musta, leading CIT HUB, challenged the participants with different engaging tasks and games.

AAB COLLEGE OPEN LECTURES

Our lecturers, Eng. Shefqet Meda and Dr. Eugen Musta, recently visited AAB College in Pristina as part of our collaboration agreement. Eng. Meda hosted a dynamic session on Operating Systems Algorithms with master’s students from the Computer Science Faculty, sparking engaging discussions and active participation. Meanwhile, Dr. Musta delivered an insightful lecture on enterprise financing.

INTERNATIONAL CHAMBER OF COMMERCE | Collaboration Meeting

We had the honor of hosting Ms. Bilgen Aldan, Chairwoman of ICC, and Ms. Ardita Seknaj, General Secretary of ICC, for a collaborative meeting at our university. We discussed strengthening ties between CIT and ICC members, enhancing Industry-Academia relations, and exploring future collaborations on EU projects, internships, guest lectures, and more.

II INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON ECONOMICS(UNEC)

CIT’s Vice-Rector in International Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ismail Kocayusufoğlu, recently had the honor of attending the II International Conference on Economics: Regional Development and Digital Economy at UNEC University in Baku, Azerbaijan. Not only was he a distinguished guest, but he also delivered a keynote address on “Regional Development in Western Balkans: Opportunities and Challenges,” drawing from his extensive expertise in the field.
