CIT’s Vice-Rector in International Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ismail Kocayusufoğlu, recently had the honor of attending the II International Conference on Economics: Regional Development and Digital Economy at UNEC University in Baku, Azerbaijan.

Not only was he a distinguished guest, but he also delivered a keynote address on “Regional Development in Western Balkans: Opportunities and Challenges,” drawing from his extensive expertise in the field.

The conference included participants from 13 different countries, including Türkiye, Lithuania, Hungary, Poland and Japan. Among the vibrant discussions, one theme stood out: the potential for closer collaboration between institutions.

Ideas were exchanged on enhancing academic and student exchanges, as well as the development of dual degree programs, signaling a promising future for international partnerships and educational initiatives.
