We are delighted to announce the election of Prof. Dr. Ismail Kocayusufoğlu as the new Rector of the Canadian Institute of Technology (CIT)!
Prof. Dr. Kocayusufoğlu’s journey at CIT has been marked by excellence and dedication. Since 2022, he has served as the Vice-Rector in International Affairs and the Dean of the Engineering Faculty, where his leadership has been instrumental in driving CIT’s academic and research initiatives to new heights.

WORK AND STUDY FAIR 2024 | First Week

CIT participated in the Work and Study Fair organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Tirana (CCIT).
This week, we had the opportunity to visit various cities around Albania, including Dibër, Shkodër, Lezhë, Kukës, and more! During these visits, we interacted with many prospective students, sharing information about our programs and showcasing the vibrant student life at CIT.

From selecting a compelling topic to conducting thorough research and structuring the thesis effectively, Dr. Ceko’s guidance ensures that students are well-equipped to produce high-quality work.

HTML AND CSS TRAINING | First Session
|
We’re off to a fantastic start with our HTML and CSS training led by students, for students!
In our first session, participants gained valuable insights into the foundations of HTML & CSS, setting the stage for an exciting learning journey ahead.

COMPUTERIZED ACCOUNTING TRAINING | Elif Accounting Program
|
Organized by CIRD (Center for Innovation, Research and Development) in collaboration with 2RM Lab, this intensive program featured 5 comprehensive sessions led by the expert guidance of Mr. Franko Daja.
Our participants delved into crucial topics, including practical accounting in a business entity, computerized accounting using the Elif Program, preparing financial statements, tax legislation, and the complete fiscalization process.

MASTERCLASS IN APPLIED ACCOUNTING IN ALBANIA
|
The latest session of the Masterclass in Applied Accounting in Albania, led by MSc. Julian Saraçi, was a success.
Tailored for professionals in accounting and auditing, the session focused on keeping participants updated with the latest standards and regulations essential for continuous professional development. It sparked engaging discussions and a thirst for knowledge among the participants.

PROJECT PRESENTATION | Machine Learning Mode

During a Machine Learning lecture with Dr. Eralda Çaushi,
Paola Mallkas and Megi Menga, students in the Master of Science in Computer Engineering and Big Data program, presented a project focused on developing a machine learning model using the Titanic dataset.

ALBANIAN START-UP AND INNOVATION ECOSYSTEM | Event Highlights
|
CIT was proud to participate in the Albanian Start-up and Innovation Ecosystem event organized by Eu4Innovation! Where key actors and stakeholders joined together to discuss the future of innovation and entrepreneurship in Albania.
Dr. Eugen Musta from CIT HUB Innovation Center shared updates on “The Entrepreneur Journey” program, implemented by NYC, CIT, and Techspace.

ASPIRE ENTREPRENEURSHIP PROGRAM | Team Building & Leadership Strategies
|
The training focused on Team Building and Leadership Strategies, and through engaging activities like Power Point Karaoke and Role Play, attendees learned the art of cooperation, team member selection, and effective leadership.
The Role Play Activity, in particular, challenged participants to create a “short list” based on a position description and 5 fictitious CVs, enhancing their recruitment prowess.
