Canadian Institute of Technology was established in 2011. Its philosophy aims to provide potential students with the necessary and competitive skillset in demand by the Albanian and Balkan regions, as well as European and North-American labor markets.
Offering the curricula in the English language makes it possible for the CIT to use the latest teaching methodologies with updated academic materials and to open larger horizons for graduates in the Balkan region and beyond.

Empowering the Future: C-DATA Certification Ceremony 2026
|
A significant milestone was marked as 72 participants successfully completed five specialized courses delivered during February–March 2026. Each course consisted of eight sessions and a total of 16 hours of intensive, hands-on learning.

CISCO CERTIFICATES AWARDED TO ENGINEERING STUDENTS
|
First-year students from the Faculty of Engineering at the Canadian Institute of Technology (CIT) were awarded 194 Cisco Networking Academy certificates, recognizing the successful completion of industry-recognized courses integrated into the academic curriculum.

CISCO CERTIFICATION | AI & Machine Learning Course Integration
|
Second-year students from the Faculty of Engineering at the Canadian Institute of Technology were awarded 91 Cisco Networking Academy certificates titled “Introduction to Data Science,” earned as part of the “Fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning” course.

INTERNATIONAL WORKSHOP ON INLAND TOURISM

On March 12, CIT proudly joined 14 leading partner institutions at the International Workshop on Inland Tourism, hosted by the University of Jaén. Our master’s students delivered presentations on digital transformation, smart tourism, ICT-driven gastronomy, and sustainable tourism, contributing Albanian perspectives to a global academic dialogue.

On March 27, 2026, a roundtable discussion titled “Discussing the Results of the ICRI-WB Project with National and Regional Universities” was held at the Aleksandër Moisiu University of Durrës. The event was organized within the framework of the ICRI-WB Project, led by the Canadian Institute of Technology, with UAMD as a key partner and supported by NASRI.

On March 3, 2026, the Canadian Institute of Technology (CIT) welcomed a distinguished delegation from Rome Business School, Italy, led by Founder and Dean Antonio Ragusa and Head of International Relations Eleonora Mantovani. The meeting focused on strengthening academic cooperation between the two institutions through staff and student mobility, joint research initiatives, collaborative projects, and participation in international conferences.
