University College “Canadian Institute of Technology” is a private academic institution established in 2011. The licensing decision was issued by the Albanian Prime Minister and Minister of Education and Science on 10 November 2011. Canadian Institute of Technology is an accredited University College which operates in the heart of Tirana – Albania.

MOBILE BANKING BUSINESS CASE COMPETITION – FINAL
|
A few weeks ago, we published a real-life case study with the UBA bank and asked our students to propose the missing features for the UBA mobile banking solution and suggest strategies that can bring the UBA business model to the next level, for the winning entry. The representatives from both institutions had a challenging time choosing the award winners since there were so many interesting proposals.

WORLD EDUCATION FAIR 2022
|
Our university was part of the World Education Fair, among many prestigious universities across the world.
This fair was committed to provide the students with all the available information about universities and to advise them to obtain a high quality education.
Therefore, this was a great opportunity for us to inform the students how CIT enriches their experience during their academic journey by offering a wide variety of study programs.

|
CIT hosted an informative week from April 4 to 9, 2022. Many potential students visited our university during Open Week to learn about the programs we offer and interact with current students and alumni to get a feeling of what studying at CIT is really like.

|

Gratitute to all the matura students for their interest to continue their studies and build their career with us.
Our academic and administrative staff gave an amazing effort and are looking forward to welcome the new students.

ALBANIAN ICT AWARDS – INFORMATIVE SESSION
|
Kushtrim Shala, the Co-founder, and Representatives from the Albanian ICT Awards paid a visit to our campus for an “Informative Session”.
The key objective of this event was to highlight the greatest achievements of Albanians’ in the field of ICT, to identify, reward and promote the most distinguished individuals and business leaders of the ICT industry.

INFLATION IN ALBANIA: A BUBBLE OR A REAL REFLECTION?
|
A round table conversation was held on April 28th, during which our guest speaker, Mr. Majlind Lazimi, discussed the recent surge in inflation, what to expect when Albania’s inflation rate reaches its ceiling, and what we can do to keep inflation low and steady.
Throughout the session, students interacted with one another, and it was interesting to hear about their innovative perspectives on the subject.

XIV INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC CONFERENCE – ULCINJ, MONTENEGRO
|
The International Scientific Conference entitled “The role of technology in socio-economic-legal development at the global level during the Covid-19 pandemic”, took place on April 1st in the city of Ulcinj.
CIT was a co-organizer where our Rector, Prof. Dr. Sokol Abazi, Dr. Enriko Ceko, and Dr. Edmira Cakrani presented papers during the conference.

SEA-EU SKILL GAPS STAFF WEEK – CONFERENCE AT SPLIT, CROATIA
|
The University of Split held “SEA EU 2022”, a conference focusing on industry – academic collaboration. It was an unique event that brought together professors and researchers from SEA-EU partner universities. Dr. Emir Dzanic, the Vice Rector for Foreign Relations at CIT, conducted a panel discussion on corporate PhD research programs, which have recently gained popularity among European universities.
Universities and businesses from Spain, France, Malta, Poland, and Croatia were representend on the panel.

INFORMATIVE SESSION – RAIFFEISEN BANK ALBANIA
|
Representatives from Raiffeisen Bank Albania visited our campus on April 11 for an “Informative Session”!
The aim of this visit was focused on the opportunities that Raiffeisen Bank provides to CIT students, as well as the activities that they can participate in during or after their studies.
Furthermore, they made an excellent case for why students should consider pursuing a career in banking.

From April 22 to 30, 2022, CIT launched the "Early Bird" Campaign.
Every student who registered in the program before to April 30 received a 25% early settlement discount.
This was a wonderful opportunity for all interested students to become a part of our family.
