WHO ARE WE?

Canadian Institute of Technology was established in 2011. Its philosophy aims to provide potential students with the necessary and competitive skillset in demand by the Albanian and Balkan regions, as well as European and North-American labor markets.

Offering the curricula in the English language makes it possible for the CIT to use the latest teaching methodologies with updated academic materials and to open larger horizons for graduates in the Balkan region and beyond.

National Academic Collaboration Through Project

The Canadian Institute of Technology (CIT), represented by Dr. Bledar Komina, Project Lead of the ICRI-WB project and Member of the CIT Board of Administration, participated in an academic meeting at the University “Ismail Qemali” of Vlora on September 29, 2025.

“SS-AICC-A” Project | Roundtable at CIT

In the framework of the EU-funded project “Smart & Sustainable AI Content Creation for Audio-Visual Media (SS-AICC-A)”, under EIT Culture & Creativity, the Canadian Institute of Technology (CIT) hosted a roundtable with businesses, educational institutions, and representatives of the creative industries from Albania and Kosovo.

STRENGTHENING REGIONAL COLLABORATION

On October 8, 2025, CIT representatives met online with Prof. Dr. Bekim Fetaji, Rector of Mother Teresa University, to discuss strengthening collaboration within the NASRI-funded ICRI-WB project and future European project opportunities.

ERASMUS+ Collaboration Visit | University of Sakarya

The Canadian Institute of Technology (CIT) visited Sakarya Applied Science University in Türkiye to strengthen institutional collaboration and explore new opportunities within the Erasmus+ framework.

The Sakarya University of Applied Sciences (SUBÜ) and the Canadian Institute of Technology (CIT) came together in Sakarya to further strengthen their academic cooperation under a previously signed protocol.

The Canadian Institute of Technology (CIT) participated in an official visit to Beykent University in Istanbul, Türkiye. This marked the first meeting between the two institutions, where discussions focused on potential collaborations, joint projects, and opportunities within the Erasmus+ program.

Visit from Vilnius Tech University – Erasmus+ Exchange Program

The Canadian Institute of Technology (CIT) had the pleasure of welcoming Dr. Tomas Pečiulis, Professor from the Faculty of Economy at Vilnius Tech University, Lithuania, who visited CIT under the Erasmus+ program as part of the ongoing cooperation between the two institutions. Students had the opportunity to attend his engaging lecture.

CIT Students Represent Albania at the European Cybersecurity Challenge 2025 in Poland

The Canadian Institute of Technology (CIT) is proud to announce that students Firdeus Dikellari and Juled Mardodaj will join Team Albania at the European Cybersecurity Challenge (ECSC) 2025, one of Europe’s most prestigious competitions in the field of cybersecurity.

NASA Space Apps Challenge 2025

Our students participated in the NASA Space Apps Challenge 2025, one of the most prestigious international competitions in science and technology, organized in Tirana by the Albanian ICT Academy in collaboration with NASA.

Erasmus Info Day

The Canadian Institute of Technology (CIT) proudly participated in the Erasmus Info Day organized by the European Union in Albania, as part of the International Erasmus Days celebration. Getting Published in Business & Entrepreneurship Journals – Open Lecture

The Canadian Institute of Technology (CIT) hosted an open lecture titled “Getting Published in Business and Entrepreneurship Journals – An Associate Editor’s Perspective,” delivered by Dr. Endrit Kromidha. The session offered key editorial insights for researchers aiming to improve the quality, visibility, and impact of their academic work.

Presentation of Diploma Topics in the Course “Auditing of Transport Traffic”

The 12-week Vehicle Traffic Auditing program, organized by the Canadian Institute of Technology (CIT) and licensed by MAS, concluded successfully with the presentation of diploma topics by the participants.
