In the framework of the EU-funded project “Smart & Sustainable AI Content Creation for Audio-Visual Media (SS-AICC-A)”, under EIT Culture & Creativity, the Canadian Institute of Technology (CIT) hosted a roundtable with businesses, educational institutions, and representatives of the creative industries from Albania and Kosovo.

The discussion aimed to foster dialogue between academia, businesses, and the creative sector, aligning education, research, and innovation with the rising demand for AI-driven skills in the audio-visual industry.

Key voices of the roundtable included Mr. Ubejd Osmani, Administrator of CIT; Ms. Inesa Sulaj, Project Manager; Mr. Bledar Komini, Board Advisor; Ms. Valbona Begolli, CEO of Albacademy; Ms. Anisa Hykaj, IETT Coordinator; Mr. Jack Tahiri, Film Director; Ms. Erinda Stafa, Branch Manager at Eurostep, along with learners enrolled in the course, other CIT representatives, and participants from academia and the creative industries, including freelancers, public sector representatives, and professionals from the cultural and creative ecosystem. Their contributions enriched the dialogue with diverse perspectives.

This initiative highlights CIT’s leadership in digital innovation and its commitment to strengthening Europe’s cultural and creative industries through education, research, and technology.
