On October 8, 2025, representatives from the Canadian Institute of Technology (CIT) — Mr. Ubejd Osmani, Administrator of CIT; Dr. Bledar Komina, Project Lead of the ICRI-WB project and Representative of the CIT Board of Administration; and Ph.D. (c) Anisa Balla, Project Office Coordinator — held an online meeting with Prof. Dr. Bekim Fetaji, Rector of Mother Teresa University in Skopje, North Macedonia.

The discussion focused on strengthening collaboration within the Initiative for Cooperation, Research and Innovation in Western Balkans Universities (ICRI-WB), a project financed by NASRI, and exploring opportunities for joint participation in upcoming European project calls.

Both institutions emphasized the importance of fostering regional cooperation among Western Balkans universities through shared research initiatives, innovation platforms, and academic networking. This meeting further reinforces CIT’s commitment to advancing regional academic and research collaboration across the Western Balkans.
