Canadian Institute of Technology was established in 2011. Its philosophy aims to provide potential students with the necessary and competitive skillset in demand by the Albanian and Balkan regions, as well as European and North-American labor markets. 

Offering the curricula in the English language makes it possible for the CIT to use the latest teaching methodologies with updated academic materials and to open larger horizons for graduates in the Balkan region and beyond.

Over these fifteen years, CIT has grown from an ambitious idea into a respected institution, recognized for its focus on engineering, technology, innovation, economy, and digital transformation.

Exciting News: CIT Achieves Prestigious ACCA Accreditation for Master’s Program!

The Canadian Institute of Technology (CIT) is thrilled to announce a major milestone for our Department of Business Administration. We have officially received accreditation from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) for two additional key modules within our Master of Science.

RESEARCH & ACADEMIC AGREEMENT | Rome Business School

On March 3, 2026, the Canadian Institute of Technology (CIT) welcomed a distinguished delegation from Rome Business School, Italy, led by Founder and Dean Antonio Ragusa and Head of International Relations Eleonora Mantovani. The meeting focused on strengthening academic cooperation between the two institutions through staff and student mobility, joint research initiatives, collaborative projects, and participation in international conferences.

FERRARI: DRIVING LUXURY BEYOND THE ROAD | Open Lecture

An engaging open lecture focused on the strategic foundations behind one of the world’s most iconic luxury brands, Ferrari. The session explored key concepts such as luxury governance, exclusivity models, and global brand positioning, offering students valuable insight into how premium brands maintain their competitive edge in international markets.

Build Things That Actually Matter – Open Lecture

The Canadian Institute of Technology (CIT) hosted a high-impact open lecture with Neil Cocker, founder and mentor, who shared a clear perspective on modern entrepreneurship. He emphasized that startups should be built around solving real problems rather than simply pursuing visibility.

COURSE PROJECT PRESENTATIONS

Inside CIT labs and classrooms, students transformed their ideas into innovation, presenting course projects that reflect hands-on learning, collaboration, and real-world problem-solving.

Erasmus+ Student Exchange – University of Technology of Troyes (France)

Engineering Bachelor students are invited to apply for the KA171 2024 Erasmus+ mobility project at the University of Technology of Troyes.  

Rising Talent in Finance – 3rd Place Achievementts

Students from the Canadian Institute of Technology (CIT) achieved 3rd place in the 5th edition of “Let’s Learn About the Stock Market,” a national competition organized in cooperation with German Sparkassenstiftung Albania.

MEETING WITH THE STUDENT GOVERNMENT

The Canadian Institute of Technology held a constructive meeting with the Student Government to strengthen open communication and encourage active student participation in institutional life.
