Students from the Canadian Institute of Technology (CIT) achieved 3rd place in the 5th edition of “Let’s Learn About the Stock Market,” a national competition organized in cooperation with German Sparkassenstiftung Albania.

The competition was designed to train students in stock market investing, reflecting a growing financial reality across Europe and an emerging sector for Albania. Participants traded using real-time market data from Börse Stuttgart (Germany), gaining valuable hands-on experience under real market conditions.

Representing CIT under the team name Vertex Capital, students Mateos Lipi, Mateo Hoxha, and Leon Islamaj demonstrated strong strategic thinking, financial knowledge, and effective teamwork throughout the competition.

Guided by Professor of Finance, Msc. Kevin Bica, the team proudly represented CIT among 111 participants from 20 institutions, showcasing professionalism, analytical skills, and competitive spirit.

This achievement highlights CIT’s commitment to practical learning and excellence in finance education.
