Arben Asllani and Elizabeth Bell from Tennessee Technological University will lead an academic workshop organized by the Faculty of Economy at Canadian Institute of Technology.

Focused on the socio-economic and environmental impacts of tourism from a sustainable development perspective, the workshop will promote academic dialogue, comparative learning, and international cooperation between Albania and the United States.

The program will engage 22 undergraduate students from Tennessee Technological University and CIT through presentations, case study analyses, and interactive discussions aimed at strengthening critical thinking, analytical skills, and applied research capacities in the field of sustainable tourism and development.

Supported by Institute of Education, Heritage & Tourism and the Department of Sociology, Faculty of Social Sciences at University of Tirana, the activity further reinforces international academic engagement and interdisciplinary collaboration in higher education.
