Canadian Institute of Technology officially launched TechTrek Hackathon 2026, bringing together students, developers, innovators, and technology enthusiasts for a dynamic 24-hour innovation challenge.
During the opening ceremony, five businesses and industry partners introduced real-world challenges directly to participants, creating an environment where teams will develop practical solutions connected to current industry needs and innovation-driven problem solving.
The event was attended by representatives from One Albania and Kreston Albania, highlighting the growing collaboration between academia and industry within the hackathon ecosystem.
Participants also attended keynote sessions delivered by Barış Boru on “Team Spirit – The Hackathon Success” and Ervin Kalemi on “From Zero to Hero – Success Story.”
To further support participants, especially first-time hackathon attendees, Florenc Hidri delivered the session “From Idea to Demo: Scoping & Building Under Pressure,” focusing on idea validation, teamwork, and effective execution under tight deadlines.
Following the official launch and presentation of challenges, participating teams immediately began their innovation journey in an atmosphere defined by creativity, collaboration, ambition, and determination.
