The Canadian Institute of Technology welcomed Dr. Maria João Polidoro from the School of Management and Technology, Polytechnic of Porto (Portugal) as part of the Erasmus+ Interinstitutional Agreement, reinforcing the ongoing collaboration between the two institutions.

During her visit, Dr. Polidoro was introduced to CIT’s facilities and participated in a meeting with the International Office, where discussions focused on academic cooperation, internationalization, and future collaborative opportunities.

A dedicated session with the Faculty of Engineering brought together academic representatives from both institutions to exchange perspectives on teaching, research, and mobility initiatives. The meeting provided an opportunity to identify common priorities and explore potential areas for joint academic activities.

The visit underscored the importance of international partnerships in higher education and further strengthened the institutional relationship between CIT and the Polytechnic of Porto. Through the Erasmus+ framework, both institutions continue to promote academic exchange, collaborative research, and initiatives that contribute to the advancement of international education.
