CIT Students Selected to Represent Albania at the European Cybersecurity Challenge 2026

The Canadian Institute of Technology (CIT) proudly announces that its students Juled Mardodaj, Nasion Golloshi, and Petro Plaku have been selected among Team Albania’s Final 10 to compete at the European Cybersecurity Challenge (ECSC) 2026, taking place in Bochum, Germany. The competition brings together the most talented young cybersecurity professionals from more than 35 European countries.

Following a rigorous national qualification process organized by the National Cybersecurity Authority of Albania (AKSK), the selected students earned their place on Albania’s national team after advancing from the country’s Top 30 competitors to the final Selection CTF. From October 12–16, 2026, they will represent Albania alongside five Junior and five Senior competitors.

Their achievement reflects exceptional technical skills, dedication, and passion for cybersecurity, while highlighting CIT’s commitment to excellence in computer science, information security, and international academic achievement. CIT congratulates its students and wishes Team Albania every success as they represent the country on the European stage.
