The Canadian Institute of Technology (CIT) recently hosted a leadership delegation from Sakarya University of Applied Sciences (SUBÜ), including Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Sarıbıyık, Secretary General Dr. Gökhan Ergen, and Lecturer Dr. Barış Boru. The visitors met with CIT academic and administrative staff alongside members of the CIT Robotics Club to celebrate the expanding partnership between both institutions and reinforce their shared commitment to technological innovation and global academic exchange.

Discussions focused on broadening cooperation in applied learning, scientific research, student mobility programs, and involvement in major technology platforms like TEKNOFEST. The SUBÜ leadership also met directly with CIT Robotics Club students, who recently secured the Jury’s Favorite Award at the Robotek SUBÜ 2026 Türkiye Competition. During the session, students shared insights into the hands-on technical skills, collaborative teamwork, and international experience gained through this joint initiative.

The visit concluded with a unified vision to launch future joint research projects, technical initiatives, and expanded academic opportunities for faculty and students. By connecting higher education directly with real-world technological progress, CIT and SUBÜ continue to build strategic global partnerships that empower the next generation of engineers and tech leaders.
