The Canadian Institute of Technology (CIT) demonstrated strong performance during the Sprint Grand Final, with four finalists achieving scores above 80% in the Junior Cybersecurity Analyst certification exam and earning two individual awards.
CIT engaged 124 students in the learning phase, with 30 successfully completing all six Cisco Academy courses and earning internationally recognized certificates and digital badges, reflecting a strong commitment to cybersecurity education.
The initiative at CIT was academically supported by Anxhela Baraj, PhD(c), within the framework of CyberRace, a cybersecurity Learn-a-Thon developed through collaboration between universities and IER-Academy, combining structured learning pathways with performance-based assessment.
