Part of the Tirana FinTech Hive 2022 was also a panel discussion about Cybersecurity: Protecting the Financial Space, which attracted a lot of interest due to recent developments in which Albania’s state online systems were targeted by several cyberattacks.

To moderate this panel was our Head of Department of Industrial Engineering, Dr. Donald Elmazi. To give their valuable opinions and discuss with us were:

During this panel, they discussed the importance of cyber training for the fintech industry; the importance of Continuous Auditing (CA) and Continuous Monitoring (CM); fintech Legal Regulations and Policies; how vigilant should be the users in this cashless economy, and what are the current challenges faced by the cybersecurity community.

This panel also concluded the first edition of Tirana Fintech Hive 2022 in Tirana. We wish that all of you who participated in this event would take the knowledge and information shared and learned from these panels back to your own organizations and countries in order to ensure and provide a more secure and overall safer information society for all.
