A technically grounded session offered a comprehensive examination of large-scale digital broadcasting systems, focusing on the engineering logic and infrastructure required to deliver nationwide signal coverage with precision and reliability.
Led by MSc. Ermir Agaçi, former Chief Technical Officer and DVB-T2 Project Manager at Albanian Radio and Television (RTSH), the lecture guided students through the architectural design and implementation of a national DVB-T2 network. Key topics included system integration, signal propagation dynamics, antenna configurations, and operational complexities.
By connecting theoretical telecommunication principles with real-world deployment, the session strengthened students’ understanding of broadcast engineering, network scalability, and the technical decision-making required to build and manage resilient, high-performance communication systems at a national level.
