IDENTIFY ISSUES AND HERITAGE PRACTICES IN THE BALKANS | International Conference, Montenegro

CIT representative Eng. Shefqet Meda participated in the “Identity Issues and Heritage Practices in the Balkans” International Conference in Ulcinj, held on October 14-15!

Hosted by the Center for Advanced Studies (BiH), Institute of Education, Heritage and Tourism (IETT), Albanian Institute of Islamic Thought and Civilization (AIITC), with collaboration from the International Institute for Islamic Thought (Virginia, USA) and the Center for Intercultural Understanding “Horizonti” (Montenegro).

A diverse group of 14 scholars, researchers, and practitioners came together to delve into the complex relationship between identity dynamics and heritage practices in this culturally rich region.

Eng. Meda, our esteemed Lecturer from the Engineering Faculty, presented a thought-provoking paper on “Technology and especially artificial intelligence applications in discovery, preservation, restoration, digitalization, and dissemination of cultural heritage, ensuring relevance in the digital age”, contributing to the insightful discussions on the intricate interplay of identity dynamics and heritage practices in the Balkans.
