International Experts Share Insights on AI, Engineering, and Biomedical Innovation at ICITTBT 2026

A key highlight of ICITTBT 2026 – the 6th International Conference on Transforming Industries and Societies through AI-Enabled Information Systems was the series of keynote presentations delivered by internationally recognized scholars and industry leaders. The sessions provided participants with valuable perspectives on emerging developments in artificial intelligence, engineering, healthcare technologies, and scientific research.

The conference featured four distinguished keynote speakers:

Prof. Darko Kantoci, President and CEO of KanDar Enterprises, presented “A Novel Multi-Scale Fractal Cognitive Architecture for Artificial Intelligence,” exploring innovative approaches to AI system design and cognitive architectures.
Prof. Erkan Kaplanoğlu of the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga (USA) delivered the keynote “Biomechatronics in the AI Era: Transforming Healthcare and Human Performance,” examining the integration of artificial intelligence with biomechatronic technologies and their impact on healthcare and human capabilities.
Prof. Daniel Remondini from the University of Bologna (Italy) presented “The Power of Protein Language Models in Biomedical Applications,” highlighting recent advances in computational biology and the role of artificial intelligence in biomedical research.
Prof. Galia Marinova of the Technical University–Sofia (Bulgaria) discussed “Advanced AI-Assisted Computer-Aided Design and Management Platforms,” focusing on intelligent systems that support design processes and organizational management.

The keynote sessions fostered meaningful discussions on the future of AI-enabled innovation and its applications across multiple disciplines. Through the exchange of knowledge and research findings, participants gained valuable insights into emerging technologies and their potential to transform industries and society.
