The Canadian Institute of Technology participated in the 16th International Staff Training Week, organized within the Erasmus+ Programme by the University of Applied Sciences in Nysa, Poland. The event brought together representatives from universities and higher education institutions across Europe, Asia, and Africa, creating an international platform for collaboration, knowledge exchange, and discussions on the future of higher education.
Representing CIT, Ph.D.(c). Anisa Balla, Project Office Coordinator, delivered a presentation on the role of the Project Office and the transversal internationalisation of Higher Education Institutions in Albania. Her presentation highlighted the importance of effective project management, institutional capacity-building, and international partnerships in supporting the ongoing transformation and modernization of universities.
Held under the theme “Change Management at the Universities,” the programme addressed some of the most significant challenges currently shaping higher education, including digital transformation, artificial intelligence, evolving student expectations, and the adaptation of academic and administrative models to a rapidly changing global environment.
The International Staff Training Week provided valuable opportunities for networking, collaboration, and the exchange of best practices among partner institutions. Participation in this event further reinforces CIT’s commitment to internationalisation, academic cooperation, and active engagement within the Erasmus+ framework, while strengthening its global partnerships and contribution to the development of higher education.
