The Canadian Institute of Technology hosted the Assembly Meeting of the League of Universities “Jon Durrahium,” bringing together representatives from member institutions across Albania for their monthly coordination session.

The meeting was opened by Ethem Ruka, Chairman of the Board, who welcomed participants and emphasized the importance of continued inter-institutional collaboration.

Discussions focused on key institutional and strategic developments, including the adoption of amendments to the Founding Act and the Statute. Participants also addressed plans for an upcoming conference dedicated to recent changes in higher education legislation, as well as the activation of the Community’s internal committees.

Additional agenda items included the appointment of a Community Coordinator and Financial Officer, along with administrative matters related to the establishment of a dedicated office to support the Community’s operations.

The Assembly Meeting continues to serve as an important platform for cooperation, dialogue, and joint decision-making among higher education institutions in Albania. The Canadian Institute of Technology reaffirmed its commitment to actively contributing to the Community’s mission and strengthening academic collaboration at the national level.
