Assoc. Prof. Nihat Adar is an accomplished academician with extensive experience in the field of Computer Engineering.

Currently, he serves as the Head of the Software Engineering Department at the Canadian Institute of Technology. He completed his Doctorate at Lehigh University’s Graduate School of Electrical, Electronics, and Computer Science in the USA. Prior to this, he pursued postgraduate studies at Anadolu University’s Institute of Science in Türkiye.

Assoc. Prof. Adar has contributed significantly to various research areas, including Signal Processing, Algorithms, Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality, Computer Vision, Database and Data Structures, Artificial Intelligence, and more.

With a career spanning nearly three decades, Assoc. Prof. Adar has played a significant role in the academic community through his research, teaching, and leadership roles.
