PROJECT DATA PROTECTION IN THE EU – RAISING AWARENESS

Proudly supported by the European Union through the Jean Monnet and Erasmus programs, CIT is launching a 36-month project to develop a comprehensive course on Data Protection in the European Union.

The project aims to enhance awareness and knowledge of GDPR among students, professionals, and organizations, promote EU best practices in privacy and data protection, and advance education and research excellence in this critical field. It will also equip future software engineers with a strong focus on personal data protection, helping to prevent financial and reputational risks from GDPR non-compliance.

During a recent meeting, CIT representatives reviewed the project’s progress, refined the syllabus, and explored innovative approaches to ensure a high-quality learning experience for students.

This initiative supports a more inclusive framework for data protection, aligns with EU regulations, and contributes to Albania’s ongoing integration into the European Union.
