Mesazhi i Rektorit

Dear students and colleagues
What a pleasure, honor and responsibility it is for me to be elected Rector of the Canadian Institute of Technology (CIT) in these difficult times for the education system not only in Albania, but around the world.
It is a pleasure to see the great progress that CIT has made during the last years. It is also a pleasure to see the number of students that increases every year, filling the auditoriums, classrooms and laboratories.
It is a privilege to work surrounded by high-quality colleagues of the academic and administrative staff of CIT, and with highly motivated students in these challenging times for the quality of education in Albania.
I have the responsibility of maintaining the trend of development that my ancestors have already set.
The main priority of CIT Senior Management is talent development, focused on our students and innovative teaching approaches. Our focus will be the student, as my predecessor, Prof. Dr. P.Eng. Habib Hamam, “Students” are the core and engine of academic institutions. Student voice is an alternative to more traditional forms of governance or learning in which academic administrators and faculty members can make unilateral decisions with little or no input from students. “
For us at CIT, the university is not a business. We create knowledge in our laboratories and pass it on to students. Together with the students, we turn knowledge into innovation. With these knowledge and innovations, we offer them to society to help change it faster.
