An insightful academic seminar was held on the topic “Satellites: History, Applications, and the Future”. The event was led by Assoc. Prof. Shkelzen Cakaj, a recognized authority in the field of satellite technology and moderated by Dr. Donald Elmazi and Dr. Alfons Harizaj, Head of CIRD Engineering.

During the seminar, Assoc. Prof. Cakaj shared a remarkable historical journey of satellites, showcasing their evolution from humble beginnings to their pivotal role in shaping our modern world. Also, shed light on the fact that Albania launched its first two satellites, Albania 1 and Albania 2, into orbit from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.
