The 2nd Students’ Project Conference on “Information Technology, Innovation, and Economy” took place on 13 May 2023 in Prishtina, Kosovo. It was organized by CIT with the support of our collaborators “Kadri Zeka” and “Haxhi Zeka” universities and with the guidance of Dr. Jona Puci.

The main aim of the conference was to provide a platform for students to showcase their innovative ideas and research projects in the fields of IT, innovation, and the economy, as well as creating a friendly atmosphere for discussion on different topics of the related fields.

Besides these aspects, we made it a priority that the conference was of high scientific quality. For this purpose, we invited engaging guest speeches, a round table discussions with industry leaders, and we ran two parallel sessions for students to present their projects.

At the opening ceremony we were honored to have distinguished keynote speakers:

Prof. Dr. Sokol Abazi – CIT Rector;

Mr. Getoar Mjeku, JD – the Vice Minister of the Ministry of Economy in Kosovo;

Mr. Ubejd Osmani – the CIT Administrator, who greeted the conference and expressed their appreciation for the student’s hard work and dedication. Part of this ceremony were the representatives of collaborator universities.

To motivate our students for doing their best in their presentations, we awarded certificates at the end of the conference.
