In celebration of World Intellectual Property Day 2025, CIT, in collaboration with the General Directorate of Industrial Property (DPPI), organized an open lecture as part of the “Data Protection in the EU – Raising Awareness” initiative.

The session was opened by Dr. Enriko Ceko, Head of the Business Administration and IT Department, who emphasized the importance of protecting innovation and creativity. Two IP specialists from DPPI delivered engaging presentations on how Intellectual Property empowers young creators to turn their ideas into real-world impact.

The event concluded with closing remarks by Ms. Entelë Gavoçi, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, who reinforced the significance of innovation, protection, and youth empowerment in today’s knowledge-driven economy.
