As part of the Erasmus+ collaboration with the Medical University of Graz, CIT students and Professor Eng. Shefqet Meda spent a week in Austria developing an AI-powered system for detecting pediatric fractures using radiological images.

The project leverages deep learning to improve diagnostic accuracy, reduce errors, and support clinicians in delivering faster, more precise care. The team collaborated with Professor Sebastian Tschauner and the International Relations Office to refine objectives and explore future partnerships.

This initiative builds on CIT’s ongoing AI research, strengthening its role in medical technology innovation.
