Representatives from the Canadian Institute of Technology (CIT), including Prof. Dr. Ismail Kocayusufoğlu, Rector of CIT, and Assoc. Prof. Reis Mulita, Chair of the Council of Professors, participated in the International Staff Week hosted by the University of Jaén in Spain, as part of the Erasmus+ Programme.

During the visit, the CIT delegation engaged in a series of academic meetings and strategic discussions with the University’s leadership and faculty. Activities included a formal reception with Rector Prof. Nicolás Ruiz Reyes, as well as working sessions with Vice Rectors and representatives from the Schools of Doctoral Studies, Computer Engineering, and Economics.

Key areas of collaboration explored during the visit included joint research initiatives, PhD mobility schemes, dual-degree programs, and the initial drafting of a Memorandum of Understanding. This international engagement marks a significant step in enhancing CIT’s global academic presence and fostering impactful partnerships in postgraduate education, research, and institutional development.
