On July 15, as part of the project “Initiative for Cooperation, Research and Innovation in Western Balkans Universities (ICRI-WB)”, representatives from the Canadian Institute of Technology (CIT) held a presentation meeting at the University of Sports of Tirana (UST).

The meeting was attended by Mr. Ubejd Osmani, Administrator of CIT, and Dr. Bledar Komina, Project Leader.

They were welcomed by:

• Prof. Dr. Agron Kasaj, Rector of UST
• Ms. Safjola Çarçani, Head of International Relations
• Ms. Elona Mehmeti, Head of the Projects and Technology Department at UST

The purpose of the meeting was to present the ICRI-WB project and extend an invitation to partner universities to join the regional platform that will be established under this initiative.

The platform aims to serve as a collaborative space for scientific research, inter-university projects, and industry engagement at a regional level.
