Purpose of the Conference
The recent crises have uncovered the vulnerabilities of societies, individuals, businesses, and economies, demanding for a reshaping of how social, economic, and technological activities are organized. This crunch calls for reactions based on responsibility, solidarity, and co-operation. Given this background, Canadian Institute of Technology in co-operation with other universities and main actors is organizing the 2nd International Conference entitled: “Shaping the Future: Digital Economy and Recent Technology Trends”. This scientific event aims to welcome international partners in the field of economy and technology through their work to highlight and analyze the main challenges and trends in various fields of technology and economy.
All submitted manuscripts should contain previously unpublished original research. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to the following fields:

The review process will be double-blind. Each paper will be reviewed by at least two members of
scientific committee. The acceptance decisions will take into account paper novelty, technical
depth, elegance, practical or theoretic impact, and presentation.
- Original: the paper explores a new idea, project or issue; discusses existing research
with promise of new insight, discusses new research; or presents new ways of
considering existing information - Engaging: presentation format will involve the audience in some way, or has high
potential to attract conference attendees by addressing needs of the community - Significant: the paper raises and discusses issues important to improving the
effectiveness and/or sustainability of open education efforts, and its contents can be
broadly disseminated and understood - Quality: claims are supported by sufficient data; claims draw upon relevant literature;
and limitations are described honestly - Relevant: the paper addresses one or more of the themes of the conference

Submission Instructions:
Papers submitted at the conference will be evaluated by the Scientific Committee.
Papers must be directly related to the main theme or address one of the suggested topics.
Papers should be from 4,000 – 7,000 words

Conference Proceedings:
The conference proceedings will be published online in a Proceedings Book (with ISBN).
Presentation
Authors will present their papers virtually through the ZOOM platform. The presentation, which will be live broadcasted, can have a maximum duration of 10 minutes. Participants should present their themselves during panel sessions.
