Empowering Research | CIT & SUBÜ Fostering Academic Innovation

The Sakarya University of Applied Sciences (SUBÜ) and the Canadian Institute of Technology (CIT) came together in Sakarya to further strengthen their academic cooperation under a previously signed protocol.

University administrators and academics from both institutions met within the framework of the Erasmus+ KA171 project, engaging in discussions aimed at expanding academic collaboration and joint initiatives.

As part of the visit, the CIT delegation toured several of SUBÜ’s research and innovation centers, including the Artificial Intelligence and Data Science Application and Research Center (YAZEM), Lifelong Learning Center (SAYEM), Language Education and Research Center (SADEM), SUBÜ Studios, the Technology Competitions Coordination Office, and the International Student Center.

The meetings focused on outlining the roadmap and technical details to advance cooperation between the two institutions, reaffirming their shared commitment to innovation, knowledge exchange, and academic growth.

The teams from CIT and SUBÜ will also collaborate in next year’s Teknofest in Türkiye — the world’s largest aerospace and technology festival — as well as in other technology competitions, leveraging their combined experience and expertise to achieve meaningful results.
