FACULTY OF ENGINEERING

The mission of the Engineering Faculty at the Canadian Institute of Technology is twofold. Firstly, it aims to equip both students and staff with expertise in various engineering disciplines, including Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Telecom, Cybersecurity, Big Data, Multimedia Design, and more. This is achieved through an educational philosophy grounded in universal values, fostering critical thinking, objective reasoning, analytical and problem-solving skills, leadership, and creativity. Concurrently, the faculty is committed to supporting research initiatives that generate ideas and tangible projects aimed at enhancing the quality and scope of human life.

Furthermore, the Engineering Faculty is dedicated to fostering excellence in teaching, research, and learning, adopting a systemic approach to engineering education. The overarching goal is to produce engineering graduates with a robust technical knowledge base and complementary skills essential for success as professional engineers in the contemporary world. The mission extends to conducting high-quality, competitively funded research that contributes to the creation and dissemination of new knowledge and innovative technologies, addressing technological, societal, and economic needs locally and globally. Additionally, the faculty actively engages in outreach activities, industrial partnerships, and endeavours to cultivate a culture of respect, inclusiveness, and diversity among students, faculty, and staff.
