Future Farming – Diaspora4Innovation | Venice, Italy

The Canadian Institute of Technology (CIT) marked a distinguished presence in the study visit organized under the “Diaspora4Innovation” project, which brought together Albanian academics from universities in Albania and the diaspora. The visit focused on Future Farming in Venice, Italy.

CIT was represented by Prof. Assoc. Dr. Nihat Adar, Vice Rector, Prof. Assoc. Dr. Entelë Gavoçi, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, and Dr. Blendi Shima, Lecturer at the Faculty of Economy. Their participation highlights CIT’s active role in shaping and advancing higher education standards at both national and international levels.

The visit was designed as an exchange of knowledge and practices, giving academics the opportunity to explore new methods, gain first-hand exposure to European experiences, and reflect on how these can be adapted to Albania’s academic and entrepreneurial landscape.

The involvement of CIT professors contributed directly to discussions on integrating scientific research, industry, and education in order to develop innovative models that can transform Albania’s academic and economic ecosystem.
