Our professor, Assoc. Prof. Shkelzen Cakaj, has published a new research paper on LEO Satellite Performance Comparison Under Two Different Elevations in Scientific Research Publishing.
This study examines the impact of elevation angles on communication windows in LEO satellite systems, using Starlink satellites at a 550 km altitude as a case study. The findings reveal that lower elevations provide wider horizons and longer communication durations, optimizing connectivity.
