On August 27, 2025, “Haxhi Zeka” University in Peja, Kosovo, hosted a formal academic meeting with representatives from the Canadian Institute of Technology (CIT), the University of Durrës “Aleksandër Moisiu”, and the host institution. The meeting brought together university leaders and academic staff to discuss shared goals and opportunities for collaboration.

The discussions focused on strengthening institutional cooperation through mobility programs, joint scientific research, and collaborative academic initiatives. All parties highlighted the importance of fostering innovation, knowledge exchange, and building stronger ties between universities across the region.

During the meeting, CIT officially invited “Haxhi Zeka” University to join the ICRI-WB regional platform, a strategic initiative led by CIT. The platform promotes research cooperation, cross-border academic networking, and innovation-driven development, contributing to stronger partnerships among universities and industry in the Western Balkans.
