On September 10, 2025, a delegation from the Canadian Institute of Technology (CIT), led by Rector Prof. Dr. Ismail Kocayusufoğlu and Dr. Bledar Komini, Project Lead of the ICRI-WB project and Board of Administration Advisor, visited the University of Donja Gorica (UDG) in Montenegro.

The delegation also included representatives from the University of Durrës “Aleksandër Moisiu”: Prof. Assoc. Dr. Llambi Prendi and Prof. Dr. Ermira Qosja. UDG was represented by Dr. Maja Drakić, Dean of the Faculty for International Economics, Finance and Business, Ph.D.(c) Sanja Nikolić from the Faculty for Culture and Tourism, along with other members of the academic staff.

Discussions focused on strengthening inter-university collaboration, developing joint projects and research initiatives, and advancing regional cooperation in higher education. During the visit, CIT extended an official invitation for UDG to join the regional platform of the ICRI-WB project, a strategic initiative led by CIT and funded by NASRI in Albania.

This visit reaffirms CIT’s mission to foster academic collaboration, promote regional innovation, and build sustainable partnerships across the Western Balkans.
