On September 3, 2025, the Canadian Institute of Technology (CIT) had the honor of welcoming a distinguished delegation from Sakarya Applied Science University, Türkiye, led by Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Sarıbıyık, accompanied by key academic and institutional representatives. Several professors also joined the meeting virtually.

The visit focused on strengthening academic collaboration, with a shared commitment to advancing research, education, and joint projects. Discussions highlighted opportunities for mutual development and long-term cooperation between the two institutions.

The Sakarya Applied Science University delegation presented the university’s academic and technological achievements, including vocational programs, international certifications, and its strong record at Teknofest—Türkiye’s leading technology festival—where students have distinguished themselves with innovative projects.
