The Board of Administration of the University College “Canadian Institute of Technology” (CIT), was held on 10/05/2021 in Tirana-Albania.

The meeting was directed by the Chairman of the Board, Prof. Assoc. Dr. Ramiz Zekaj and with the participation of four members of the Board: Prof. Dr. Shkelqim Cani, Prof. Assoc. Fabian Zhilla, Prof. Dr. Elez Osmani and Prof. Assoc. Gazmend Pula.

At the beginning of the speech, the chairman of the Board of Administration Prof. Assoc. Dr. Ramiz Zekaj, presented the new members through a description with concrete data on the progress of “CIT” during the last period. Despite the situation created from the pandemic Covid-19, the institution has followed the right steps with support of the innovative technology in the teaching process, emphasized that academic standards are completely fulfilled for students and academic staff.

Furthermore, Dr. Bledar Komini (Counselor and representative of the Board) presented the annual report of “CIT” for the academic year 2019-2020 about achievements, challenges, and realization of institutional objectives and purposes.

Part of the meeting was the Rector Prof. Dr. Sokol Abazi. The Rector informed the Board regarding the progress of the elections process of the Academic Senate and the Rector of the Institution. Another participant of the meeting was the Administrator Msc. Ubejd Osmani, who presented the scholarships and the registration strategy for the academic year 2021-2022.

During the discussion, the Board of Administration took important decisions for the institution, related to the Approval of Institutional policy for staff recruitment and the Approval of “Student Tariff” for the academic year 2021-2022, while during the discussion were given opinions and different thoughts which were taken into consideration and included in the decisions above.
