THE IMPACT OF ONLINE LEARNING STRATEGIES ON STUDENTS’ ACADEMIC PERFORMANCE: A SYSTEMATIC LITERATURE REVIEW | International Journal Of Learning, Teaching, And Educational Research

Our Representative, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ramiz Zekaj has published his paper in the Scopus Indexed International Journal of Learning, Teaching and Educational Research, an open-access journal which has been established for the dissemination of state-of-the-art knowledge in the field of education, learning and teaching.

The paper provides the challenges of today’s online learning and the teaching strategy used by higher educational institutions (HEI) that requires ample technological and psychological preparation.
The purpose of this study is to assess whether the transition to the virtual classroom improved or deteriorated students’ academic performance. Findings from this study reveal that online learning strategies are frequently related with technical, technological, physical, and psychological elements.

The results indicate that students’ performance is highly dependent on the presence of these elements during online classes. Furthermore, this study suggests continuing to employ online learning if both students and instructors are technologically and physically prepared.
